In an exciting collaboration, Young Irish Filmmakers will host a consultation with young people in Offaly at Offline Film Festival, examining the opportunities for the growth of the Mini Movies programme in Offaly.

Established in 2012, Mini Movies is an initiative of Offaly County Council Arts Office, which has been funded by The Arts Council, Offaly County Council Arts Office and the J.V.W. Trench Trust. The programme gives primary and secondary school children in Offaly first-hand experience of filmmaking, funding professional filmmakers to come into selected schools, supporting and mentoring students to make their own films, which have premiered at OFFline Film Festival.
